Big wins for Touch Theatre at CDA

Touch Theatre was highly successful at the Cornwall Drama Association awards for 2017-18 for its production of Madeleine George’s outstanding play, ‘Precious Little’. Not only were the brilliant, multi-role efforts of Tracey Hughes and Emma Phillips recognised with a joint award of the Mary Downie Award for the best performance in a supporting role, but we also won the CDA Trophy for the best play. Director, Kath Archer, said, “This is a fitting recognition of the huge efforts put in by the performing and creative teams. This play was a joy to work on and we are all delighted that our endeavours have been so successful. We knew that we had created something special and are immensely encouraged that our gut instincts have been confirmed by the CDA.”
